On June 27, 2020, on the Literary Alley was organized a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the life and work of the national Poet of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov in order to perpetuate the memory of the great poet.

Doctoral student of the department G.Goziev, assistant of the department E.Malikov, doctoral student of the Bukhara branch of TIIAME S.Tadzhiev under the guidance of professor of the department of irrigation and melioration Isaev Sabirdzhan Khusanbaevich visited the Yangiyul and Chinoz districts of the Tashkent region and the Yangier and Havas regions.

Professor Arifjanov Aybek Muhammedjanovich, Head of the Department of Hydraulics and Hydroinformatics, was awarded the badge "Excellent worker of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan"

The spiritual and educational event, organized yesterday at the base of the monument to Abdulla Aripov on the Alley of Writers, also demonstrates the great power of literature and art in the formation of patriotism and humanity in the hearts of students.

On September 21, 2020 was held an enlarged meeting of the Department of "Pedagogy, Psychology and Methods of Teaching".

On September 19, 2020, a group of students of the Faculty of Hydromelioration, together with Assistant of the Department of Ecology and Water Resources Management A.Khamidov and Assistant of the Department of Operation of Irrigation and drainage systems A.Gafarova, visited the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region.

A group of teachers and doctoral students from the Department of Hydraulics and Hydroinformatics visited a number of hydraulic structures located in the Fergana Valley, including the Kokand Hydroelectric Power Station, the Big Fergana Canal, and the Chartak Reservoir.
