Brief description of the tasks and objectives of the work

Development of theoretical bases for the forecast and management of cotton crop

Development of practical and theoretical bases for modeling the protection and conservation of soil fertility in irrigated lands of the Republic, implementation of results in production

Zoning of irrigated areas by methods of irrigation (by the example of the Kashkadarya region)

Development of a new methodology for zoning of lands in the Kashkadarya region. Zoning of various methods of irrigation depending on water permeability of irrigated lands and their bias.

Subject: Development of technology (systems), prevention of desertification, restore and increase soil fertility (in the conditions of Khorezm region and Karakalpakstan) (3-phase).

Deadline: 2015-2017

Objective of the research: Development of technology (system) to prevent desertification, restore and increase soil fertility. Creation of the methodology for using aerospace surveys to quickly assess the efficiency of irrigated farmland use.

The results obtained: The scientific basis for the use of distant field shots has been developed to estimate the efficiency of the area of each irrigated field. The principles and study of aerospace images obtained in the field were developed. The images received were distantly scaled, and an equation of the correlation technique was developed through crop yields, measuring the degree of negativity and the connection of topographic maps. On the basis of distant data (AFS, CFS and SS) for each individual irrigated farming site a project agromeliorative passport was created.

Based on the results of the work there were published: 2 articles in foreign journals, 1 article in a local journal, 3 theses at Republican conferences.

12/2016 – "Introduction of a certain hydromodule zoning and irrigation of cotton and winter grain crops in the Kashkadarya region and development of recommendations for its wide implementation"

The results obtained: The cotton and winter grain crops in Kashkadarya region were determined and recommendations to farms on irrigation technology in hydromodule areas were given.

Theme: 4/2016 – "Introduction of the efficiency-increasing watering technology by bio-solvent and saving water resources through the use of polymer complexes"

Supervisor: professor M.Khamidov.

Responsible executor: B.Suvanov.

The objective of the research: Development and implementation of recommendations for saving water resources by using polymer complexes in irrigation in alluvial soils with low mineralization and depth of groundwater 1.5-2.0 m in the Bukhara oasis and studying their impact on growth, development and yield cotton, as well as improving washing efficiency, using a chemical bio-solvent in the washing process and improving the meliorative state of irrigated land.

Technology of cotton irrigation on film-screened furrows

The obtained results: while watering the cotton along film-screened furrows, the irrigation was carried out according to the scheme 1-3-0, the irrigation norm in the pre-flowering phase was 767 m3/hectare, in the flowering-fruiting phase 604-644 m3/hectare, the irrigation norm was 2637 m3/hectare or water saving was 1818 m3/hectare and a high yield of cotton was obtained – 46.8 centner/hectare.

Theme: Zoning of irrigated territory by irrigation methods (in the example of Kashkadarya region)

The obtained results: The method of land-zoning of Kashkadarya region is developed depending on the water permeability of irrigated lands and their slope. Based on the results of the work done, four scientific articles and abstracts were published in foreign and republican conferences, and a seminar for farmers was held.
