Тhe "Hydrology and Hydrogeology" department of the "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University is connected with the development of the field, providing knowledge to students and professor - on improving the qualifications of teachers and strengthening the material and technical base, as well as on the organization of educational and production practices, on providing practical and sponsoring support:

1. Hydrometeorological Service Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan (UzHydromet)

2. Tashkent Reservoir Administration.

3. Scientific Research Institute of Irrigation and Water Problems (ISMITI)

4. State institution of the Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology (GIDROINGEO)

5. Meliorativ expedition under Chirchik-Ohangaron Irrigation System Basin Department.

They are engaged in innovative cooperation with organizations on scientific and technological issues.

Results achieved on the basis of international cooperation and scientific relations with foreign countries. The cafe has established cooperation with higher education institutions and scientific centers of several countries. In addition, they participated in training courses based on the ERASMUS project in Germany. Currently, the department has established scientific cooperation with the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Humboldt University of Germany, Russian State University of Hydrometeorology, Russian State Institute of Hydrology, Lund University of Sweden and Zagreb University of Croatia.
