Spirituality and enlightenment are symbols of dignity
Abdulla Aripov was a unique talent who brought Uzbek literature to a new high level. His artistic and profound philosophical poems have deeply rooted in the hearts of our people. The spiritual and educational event, organized yesterday at the base of the monument to Abdulla Aripov on the Alley of Writers, also demonstrates the great power of literature and art in the formation of patriotism and humanity in the hearts of students.
Ruzimurot Choriev, Deputy rector of the Institute; Alisher Fatkhullaev, Dean of the Faculty of Irrigation and Drainage; Tesha Muminov, People's Artist of Uzbekistan; Associate Professor Shoira Oripova, Candidate of Medical Sciences; Doctor of Philology Nurboy Jabborov, Professor of the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi; Zukhra Ismailova, chairman of the women's council of the institute, and professors and students took part in the event. There was presented a literary and artistic program prepared by students of our faculty. Professor Nurboy Jabborov, in his turn, expressed his views on the ideological themes and genre features of the poet's work, and also provided students with sufficient information by analyzing some of the poems written by the poet in connection with the ideological intention of the writer. Then the famous actor Tesha Muminov was invited to the microphone. He spoke about the role of Amir Temur in the drama of Abdulla Aripov "Sakhibkiron" and the importance of his efforts to create a centralized state, and also read an excerpt from his universally praised monologue. Then the poet's daughter, Shoira Oripova, a talented medical worker briefly shared of his father's life and work.
The poet's poems and epics are in all respects similar to proverbs with the same high status. Abdulla Aripov earned the love of our people with his multifaceted activities, bold words and poems encouraging for spiritual awakening. We, the youth, are very happy to take an active part in the study of the great poet's work, to glorify his spiritual views, and we will never stop exploring.
