February 26, 2020, at the Department of Irrigation and Reclamation, Head of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, held a meeting with Professor Yarash Ergashevich Pulatov. The event attended by professors and teachers of the department, masters and students of the specialty "Water saving irrigation technologies". Pulatov gave a lecture on "Waterproofing Technology and irrigation and effective use of water in the valley". The report provides a comprehensive overview of water-efficient irrigation technologies used in Central Asia, including Tajikistan, the impact of climate change on the formation of the Amu Darya, and the ongoing problems of river formation and work to address them. A short video film also showed on the formation of the Amudarya River.

During the event students, undergraduates and faculty asked a number of questions .The meeting was full of discussion and interesting. At the end of the event, Head of the department of Irrigation and Melioration, prof. I.A. Begmatov, prof. Pulatov expressed his gratitude to the participants for their comprehensive lectures and answers. At the same time, according to the order of the rector of the Institute "Involving foreign professors into the educational process" from February 25, 2020, to to May 29, 2020, the Department of Irrigation and Melioration prof.
