On July 27, 2020, the HydroLeaders team at the faculty of Hydrometeorological Melioration of the TIIAME took part in the Republican competition for youth within the framework of the project “Youth of Uzbekistan against climate change” with their innovative developments. The team won the honorable 1st place among 74 teams that took part in this competition and won a cash prize of $ 2,000.

Scientific adviser: doctoral student of the Department of Hydraulics and Hydroinformatics, Associate Professor Lukmon Nayimovich Samiev. The HydroLeaders team was organized in 2019 with the practical support of the rector of the institute, Professor Uktam Pardaevich Umurzakov. Today, the HydroLeaders team has about 7 international and national grants.
