The purity of nature is the standard of ecological culture
World Cleanliness Day is a celebration of cleanliness in the society. World Cleanliness Day is an expression of a simple idea - to clean up your area of residence. The idea for such a format was born in 2008 in Estonia when 50,000 volunteers gathered together to help the country get rid of the garbage in a few hours. Today this day has turned into a large-scale public movement of volunteers, uniting more than 180 countries on this day. In Uzbekistan, this day was first celebrated across the country in 2019. On September 19, 2020, a group of students of the Faculty of Hydro-reclamation, together with Assistant of the Department of Ecology and Water Resources Management A. Khamidov and assistant of the Department of Operation of Hydro-reclamation Systems A. Gafarova, visited the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region.
They took part in an action dedicated to the World Day of Cleanliness. Uzbekistan is our home, and mountains, nature is part of our Motherland. The goal of the environmental campaign is to mark the World Day of Cleanliness in Uzbekistan. Keeping clean is a civic duty of each of us. Therefore, such actions should be carried out not only on a certain day of the year but every day. Only then will the planet we live on will be clean.
