On January 31, 2019 there was held a meeting on "Islam has no place in extremism and terrorism" with the participation of professors and students of the Institute. The meeting was attended by Vice Rector for Youth Affairs Q.Shavazov, Mirzo-Ulugbek District Imam Khakimov Mamatov Akbarali Kadirovich, dean of the faculty "Hydromelioration" A.Fatkulova, assistant to dean, professors and students. It was also noted that the aim of the event was to create immunity for various disservious ideas that would be aimed at correcting professors and teachers and students, and to counteract them with the knowledge of enlightenment at the right time. The film "Islam: The essence and interpretation" was shown during the event. At the end of the event, the experts answered the questions raised by the students. The students thanked the event's organizers for their efforts to achieve the ultimate goal of creating a great future.
